CURRENT UPDATES

Pastors Don & Debbie Lynn Back in the Field & Hosting Our First Intern  – October 18, 2018

Weekly Update! Meet Aneesah! Many of you at the Heart and our friends in Arizona already know her. For about the past 12 days we have had the privilege of having her with us. She will be serving with us for about a month total. Aneesah is an amazing young woman of God who recently moved from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to Avondale, Arizona. She was in Arizona for about a month before coming as sort of an ¨intern¨to taste and see what the mission field is like. To help you get to know Aneesah better we asked her some questions. She is 22 years old. She is from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
She moved to Arizona because she felt like God has called her to help Him ¨do a new thing¨and to partner with Him in His vision. We asked Aneesah what her three favorite things of her time in Honduras so far gave been and she said, ¨The first week was amazing. It was filled with rest and intimacy. My three favorite moments would be going to church service at City Hope, village discipleship, and hiking to the Coca Cola sign!¨ Since Aneesah’s arrival she has been with us for two weeks of church where she lead worship on the keys this past Tuesday night and helped lead a game at youth church. Today, Don and Debbie did student pastoring at the Honduras Spanish Institute in Siguatepeque, and Aneesah had a few hours of Spanish class.
We love having Aneesah serving with us and we cannot wait to see what God does during the remaining time she has here.
Upon Don and Debbie arriving on october 7th (which was Debbie’s birthday), we celebrated as a family on Tuesday night for church. Momma Debbie is such an amazing, beautiful, loving, kind, and compassionate soul. We love you, Pastora Debbie! ¡Feliz Cumpleaños!
We hope to keep you updated on more going on each week! Thank you for your love and prayers!

Village Church & Discipleship – September 16th, 2018

Today in the village we celebrated two special holidays that occurred this past week (Independence Day: Sept. 15 & Children’s Day: Sept. 10). We were able to share cake & soda with everyone as we enjoyed a time a fellowship. Sarela led the children in some games and crafts. We love our village family! We didn’t do our normal bi-weekly Bible study, but instead we enjoyed time in prayer, worship and talking about childlike faith and our independence in Christ. What a special time we got to share with them today.
